What is Christian Hospitality?
Can churches or ministries reserve the ranch?
At Deep Creek Meadows Ranch, we believe hospitality is more than service or a business transaction, it is a ministry and an opportunity to demonstrate the love of Christ to every guest and client. Christian hospitality is an expression of service rooted in biblical principles, striving to be gracious kind, compassionate, truthful, and Christ-honoring in everything we do.
Why does Deep Creek Meadows Ranch have a Statement of Faith?
Our ranch exists to showcase the beauty of God’s creation and ultimately, to point others to its Creator. Our Statement of Faith is not intended as a marketing tool or for public appeal; rather, it serves as the foundation for how we conduct our business. It guides our decisions, relationships, stewardship, and service, ensuring that every aspect of Deep Creek Meadows Ranch reflects our commitment to biblical principles.
What kinds of events do you host?
We welcome a variety of events, including weddings, elopements, vow renewals, engagement celebrations, photography sessions, commercial film and photography productions, corporate retreats, ministry gatherings, nonprofit events, educational workshops, concerts, community events, and other special occasions. If you have a unique event in mind, we’d be happy to discuss whether Deep Creek Meadows Ranch is the right fit.
Absolutely! We are honored to host churches, ministries, Bible studies, worship gatherings, retreats, leadership conferences, and other faith-based events. Our desire is to provide a peaceful setting where people can gather, worship, learn, and enjoy God’s creation together.
Do you require couples to share your beliefs?
No. We welcome every guest with kindness, dignity, and respect. While we do not require our guests to share our Christian faith, Deep Creek Meadows Ranch is a Christian-owned and operated venue, and every event held on our property must be consistent with our sincerely held biblical beliefs and mission.
We gladly welcome Christian weddings from a variety of denominational and non-denominational backgrounds, as well as non-religious civil ceremonies that are respectful of our mission and values. However, because our desire is to honor and glorify God in all that we do, we are unable to host ceremonies or events whose purpose, worship, or message conflicts with the Christian faith or our Statement of Faith.
Booking:
How do I reserve my wedding date?
At Deep Creek Meadows Ranch, reserving your wedding date is easy. First, we will schedule a tour for you to visit. If suitable for your special day, we will then sign a contract for your given date, agreeing to the terms listed. Once signed, you will have a month from the date of signing to pay a deposit.
How much is the deposit?
Depending on the type of event, the typical deposit is 25% of the total cost. However, deposits may vary depending on the event held, cost of venue rental, and how many people will be present.
Are payments refundable?
Upon cancellation of the scheduled event, payments are refundable except for the initial deposit. All payments become nonrefundable exactly one month prior to the event date.
Can we tour the property before booking?
Absolutely! Deep Creek Meadows Ranch encourages scheduling a tour prior to booking. That being said, to book at our venue, conducting a tour is not necessary.
What is the booking process?
The booking process is simple. First, you submit an initial inquiry and we will respond by email (make sure to check your spam folder). Next, we schedule a tour, if applicable. Then, we will send you a proposal and contract for review, giving you time to ask any questions you may have. After signing the contract, you will have one month from the date of signing to pay the initial deposit. Once the deposit is received, the date is officially reserved. Finally, you plan for your celebration!

What is included in the rental?

What is not included in the rental?
Deep Creek Meadows Ranch is intentionally designed as a natural, outdoor venue that allows the freedom to customize every experience. The following items are not included with the venue rental but may be arranged through outside vendors:
Tables, Chairs, Linens, and Event Furniture
Catering, Bar Service, and Food Preparation
Decorations and Event Styling
Restroom Facilities
On-Site Lodging
Trash Removal Services
Weather Protection Structures
Please note, if you need help determining vendors for these services, we would be happy to provide you with the contact information of our preferred vendors.
How many guests can the venue accommodate?
Our venue can support small and large events with guests lists ranging from two people to several hundred people.
Is the venue exclusive during our rental?
Yes! The venue is exclusive during the date of your rental.
Can we bring our own vendors?
Absolutely! At Deep Creek Meadows Ranch, we encourage our clients to bring vendors in an effort to make their event as special and unique as possible. Note, due to constraints on electricity and water usage, some vendors may need to bring a generator and their own source of water.
Are there vendor requirements?
While we encourage hiring other vendors, all vendors are required to provide proof of insurance and follow all venue rules.
Is there parking?
Yes! Deep Creek Meadows Ranch has designated free parking for event guests and vendors.
Is the venue handicap accessible?
Deep Creek Meadows Ranch is an outdoor venue with natural terrain. While we strive to make the venue as accessible as possible, certain areas may be difficult to navigate for guests who use wheelchairs or other mobility devices.
We are committed to provided a welcoming experience for all guests and are happy to discuss reasonable accommodations whenever possible. If you or one of your guests has specific accessibility needs, please let us know in advance so we can work with you to make your visit as comfortable as possible.
Wedding Planning:
How much time do we have for setup and cleanup?
Setup and cleanup times are determined by the terms of your rental agreement. For single-day rentals, setup, your event, and cleanup all take place on the same day. For multi-day rentals, setup may begin the day before your event, and cleanup may be completed the following day, allowing for a more relaxed and enjoyable experience. Two- and three-day rentals allow additional time for setup, decorating, rehearsals, and cleanup without feeling rushed.
Can we rehearse on-site?
Yes! We are happy to accommodate on-site rehearsals for booked clients, subject to venue availability and your rental agreement. We recommend scheduling your rehearsal in advance so we can ensure the property is available and ready for your group.
Do you provide tables or chairs?
No. Tables, chairs, linens, and other event furnishings can be rented through the vendor of your choice.
Can we have a tent?
Yes! Tents and other temporary event structures are welcome, provided they are professionally installed and approved in advance to help protect the property and surrounding environment.
What happens if it rains?
As an outdoor venue, weather is always a consideration. We encourage couples to have a weather contingency plan, such as renting a tent or adjusting their event timeline. While we hope for beautiful Montana skies, preparing for the unexpected helps ensure a smooth celebration.
Are pets allowed?
Well-behaved pets (including dogs and horses) are welcome to participate in your event with prior approval. For the safety of your guests, other animals and wildlife, and the property, pets must remain leashed and under their owner’s control at all times. Owners are responsible for cleaning up after them. Note, service animals are always welcome.
Can we have a bonfire?
While bonfires are not permitted, smaller fires may be permitted with prior approval and only when local fire restrictions allow. All fires must comply with venue polices, applicable state and local regulations, and must remain in its designated spot.
Can sparklers or fireworks be used?
Fireworks, sky lanterns, and similar pyrotechnics are not permitted. Sparklers may be allowed with prior approval, provided weather conditions and local fire restrictions permit their safe use, there is an available way to extinguish them, and someone in the event party is in charge of an appropriate fire extinguisher.
Are candles permitted?
Unfortunately, candles are not permitted.
Is alcohol permitted?
Yes. Alcohol may be served during your event, provided all applicable federal, state, and local laws are followed. Note, to serve alcohol, a licensed and insured bartending vendor must be reserved. Alcohol is not permitted to be served by unlicensed and impaired individuals.
Is smoking allowed?
The use, possession, or distribution of tobacco, cannabis (including medicinal marijuana), vape products, or any potentially mind-altering substances — including, but not limited to, edibles, gummies, oils, drops, drinks, or other infused products — is strictly prohibited on the property. This includes all forms of smoking, vaping, and consumption.
Who is in charge of waste disposal?
Clients and their vendors are responsible for removing all trash, decorations, and personal belongings at the conclusion of their events unless other arrangements have been made in advance.
Do you offer onsite lodging?
At this time, we do not offer on-site lodging; however, we are happy to recommend nearby lodging options for you and your guests.
Photography:
Can we schedule engagement photos?
Yes! Use of the venue for engagement photos can be scheduled with your preferred photographer. If you choose to book your wedding with us, the venue can be scheduled for engagement photos without any additional cost. If you decide not to book with us but still want to use the venue for photography, we would be happy to discuss day rates for venue use.
May we return for anniversary photos?
Absolutely! All guests who book with us are more than welcome to return for anniversary photos. Please just let us know a date available for you and we would be happy to reserve it.
Can photographers scout the property?
All photographers are able to scout the property. Please reach out through our email — dcmr.hospitality@gmail.com — and we would be delighted to schedule a tour.

Where is Deep Creek Meadows Ranch located?
Deep Creek Meadows Ranch is located in the heart of Paradise Valley near Livingston, Montana, offering breathtaking mountain views, open meadows, and a peaceful ranch setting just a short drive from Yellowstone National Park.
How do I inquire about hosting an event?
Simply complete the inquiry form on our website and we will reach out by email (make sure to check your spam folder). We’d love to learn more about your event, answer your questions, and schedule a tour of the property.
How large is the ranch?
Deep Creek Meadows Ranch encompasses 305 acres of beautiful Montana countryside, providing plenty of space for memorable events and stunning photography.
Is the ranch available year-round?
Availability varies depending on the season, weather conditions, and the type of event being hosted. Please contact us for current availability and recommended event dates.
Is the property accessible?
As a working outdoor ranch with natural terrain, portions of the property may be difficult to access for guests with mobility limitations. We strive to make reasonable accommodations whenever possible and encourage guests with accessibility needs to contact us in advance. That being said, we do have two roads leading directly to the ceremony and reception sites.
Can photographers book the property?
Yes! We welcome photographers and videographers for portrait sessions, family photos, engagements, seniors, maternity, anniversaries, and other photography sessions. Reservations are required.
Do you allow commercial filming?
Yes! Commercial film, television, advertising, and other professional productions are welcome with prior approval. Please contact us to discuss your project’s needs and receive a customized proposal.
Can drones be used?
Drone photography and videography may be permitted with prior approval. All drone operators must comply with FAA regulations, operate safely and responsibly while on the property, and provide insurance.
Do you offer exclusive access for productions?
Yes! Commercial productions and larger events may reserve exclusive access to the property, subject to availability and the terms of the rental agreement.
Can I host a concert or community event?
Yes! Deep Creek Meadows Ranch is available for concerts, festivals, community gatherings, and other special events. We’d be happy to discuss your vision and determine whether our property is the right fit.
Do you allow nonprofit or ministry events?
Absolutely. We are honored to host nonprofit organizations, churches, ministries, and community-focused events that align with our mission and values. Please contact us to discuss your event.
Can businesses host retreats or team events?
Yes. Our peaceful ranch setting is ideal for corporate retreats, team-building events, leadership gatherings, workshops, and company celebrations.
What events do you not host?
As a Christian-owned venue, Deep Creek Meadows Ranch reserves the right to decline events that conflict with our sincerely held biblical beliefs and values. We are committed to treating every guest with kindness, dignity, and respect while operating in accordance with our mission and faith.
